Job description
Position Overview

We have an opportunity for a Quantity Surveying graduate to work within our cost management team, providing construction cost management services to clients in the UK, Ireland and worldwide. AECOM offers services across a wide range of sectors including commercial, manufacturing, education, health, residential, leisure, and infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities
  • Work on local and international projects, from initial project definition and brief through to procurement, construction and post‑construction building use.
  • Pre‑contract duties: cost modelling and planning, benchmarking, value and risk analysis, design team meetings, procurement tasks and managing tender processes, compilation of contract documentation.
  • Post‑contract duties: attendance at site progress meetings, completion of valuations, financial reporting, due diligence reporting, and review and management of change control procedures.
  • Assist in all of the above tasks and see projects from inception to completion on site.
Professional Development
  • Participation in AECOM’s Graduate Development Programme, offering exposure to a broad range of global projects.
  • Support for national chartership, including mentorship, regular training modules, and CPD programmes.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quantity Surveying (min 2:1 or equivalent), preferably RICS accredited.
