The role

Ferrovial Construction is seeking Graduate Quality Engineers to assist with, and sometimes be responsible for, daily activities on major UK infrastructure projects. The 3-year graduate development program is designed to develop personal, professional, and technical skills through a blended approach. You will work under the supervision of Quality Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to Health and Safety compliance and uphold Quality standards on projects.

Key Accountabilities

  • Assist in writing and reviewing quality documentation, including Quality Management Plans and Inspection and Test Plans.
  • Support the development of briefing and communication strategies to ensure understanding of quality plans among all employees and subcontractors.
  • Assist in monitoring compliance of construction works and relevant documentation according to Works Information, Ferrovial standards, and Technical Standards.
  • Support reporting for the senior Quality team.
  • Assist with investigations and audits alongside the Project Quality Manager.
  • Advise on quality requirements and promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Promote customer requirements throughout the business.
  • Adopt and promote Ferrovial Construction UK’s Vision and Values.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Adhere to safe working practices and ensure team compliance.
  • Support environmental and sustainability policies and procedures.

Skills and Competence
