Job summary

WSP is recruiting graduates to join Local Government and Liveable Places teams. You will shape sustainable communities across the UK, working with local authorities and a range of clients on projects spanning transport, regeneration and climate resilience.

We look for a 2:2 degree and an interest in local government, placemaking and infrastructure. The two-year Graduate Development Programme provides structured learning, mentoring and hands-on project experience, with a rolling application

Qualifications

• You will have, or be on track to achieve, at least a 2:2 in a relevant bachelor's or master's degree.
• Be ready to start work in September 2027.
• Interest in local government, regeneration, sustainable development, placemaking, transport, infrastructure or thriving communities.

Responsibilities

• Work with local authorities and public/private sector clients on transport, regeneration and placemaking projects.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams with engineers, planners and transport specialists.
• Develop solutions through research, stakeholder engagement and project delivery.
