Job summary

NRL Recruitment is seeking a Graduate Process Engineer for an on-site placement at Grangemouth's major import/export terminal. You will work directly with a Senior Process Engineer to support project close-out and learn within a highly experienced team.

The 2–3 month placement offers hands-on experience in terminal operations, process management and safety practices, with direct mentoring to apply academic knowledge in a live industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Process Engineering required.
• Newly graduated with keen interest in gaining practical industrial experience.
• Willingness to work full-time on site in Grangemouth.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support project close-out activities with the Senior Process Engineer.
• Review technical documentation, process data and project files.
• Participate in plant performance reviews and identify improvement opportunities.
• Liaise with site operations and maintenance to complete projects.
• Apply safety procedures and technical standards in all activities.
• Gain hands-on exposure to terminal operations, control systems and process management.
