Job description

Graduate Podiatrist - Start your career with us!

Annual increase and bonus scheme after Year 1

Full or Part-time

Just qualified and ready to hit the ground running? This is the graduate role for you!

At Surrey Foot Service, we believe the right start shapes the whole of your career. That's why we've created a graduate position that gives you real clinical variety from day one — alongside the structured mentoring, support, and investment to help you grow into an exceptional podiatrist.

We're a friendly, forward-thinking clinic in Surrey, with a passionate team, cutting-edge technology, and a genuine commitment to doing things properly. We love what we do, we support each other, and we're proud of the environment we've built — come and be part of it.

There has never been a better time to join Surrey Foot Service. We are moving to brand new, purpose-built premises in Autumn 2026 — and it's a genuine step change for what we can offer both our patients and our team. The new clinic will be home to a dedicated gait lab, a surgical suite, and beautifully designed clinical spaces built around the way we work. If you've ever wanted to practise in an environment where the facilities truly match your ambitions, this is it. We're growing, we're investing, and we're looking for the right people to grow with us.

THE ROLE

This is a broad, hands‑on role designed to give you solid foundations across the full scope of podiatric practice. You'll work alongside our senior podiatrists every step of the way, building your confidence and clinical skills through a varied caseload that spans MSK and biomechanical conditions, nail surgery, verruca treatments, and routine podiatric care. You'll be supported, challenged, and valued from the very first day.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Assess and treat a varied caseload including MSK and biomechanical presentations, nail conditions, verrucas, and routine podiatric care — with senior guidance throughout
  • Work with advanced clinical technology including Run3D and Walk3D motion capture, Footscan pressure plates, and Phits+ / Enertor / Firefly custom orthotics
  • Develop your understanding of gait analysis, biomechanical assessment, and orthotic prescription under the mentorship of experienced MSK podiatrists
  • Assist with and develop skills in nail surgery under local anaesthetic, building confidence at your own pace under our lead surgical podiatrist.
  • Carry out verruca treatments including Swift microwave therapy
  • Deliver high‑quality routine podiatric care across dermatological and general nail presentations
  • Learn to use shockwave therapy, laser, and other technologies.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and engage fully with CPD, training, and service development
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • HCPC‑registered podiatrist — newly qualified or within the first two years of practice
  • Degree in Podiatry (or about to graduate — we're happy to consider final‑year students)
  • A genuine enthusiasm for the full scope of podiatry — you're not looking to specialise just yet, you want to experience it all
  • Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and develop under the guidance of senior clinicians
  • Strong communication skills and a patient‑first attitude
  • A team player who brings a positive energy and takes pride in their work
  • Commitment to CPD and growing your clinical practice over the long term
YOUR DEVELOPMENT WITH US

We take graduate development seriously. From your first week, you'll be paired with a senior podiatrist who will mentor you through your caseload, support your clinical decision‑making, and help you set a clear pathway for progression. You'll have access to regular one‑to‑ones, structured training, and the full range of our clinical technology — so that by the time you've found your feet (no pun intended!), you'll have the skills and confidence to take on anything.

WHAT WE OFFER
  • Paid clinic closure between Christmas and New Year
  • Your birthday off
  • Structured mentoring from senior podiatrists & a clear progression pathway
  • Ongoing CPD and training investment
  • Access to Run3D, Walk3D, Footscan, shockwave, laser & more
  • Flexible working options & genuine work‑life balance
  • Free on‑site parking, uniform provided, company pension, CPD allowance
  • Regular team socials, quarterly team days & monthly 1:1s
SOUND LIKE YOU?

We'd love to hear from you — whether you've just graduated or you're approaching the end of your final year. Give Fiona a call for an informal chat, or send your CV with a short covering note. No need to have everything figured out yet — that's what we're here for.
