Job summary

United Infrastructure Ltd is seeking a Graduate Planner to join our growing team in Alness. This two-year graduate programme combines structured development, formal training and on-the-job experience to build knowledge of project controls, scheduling and infrastructure delivery.

You will support development and maintenance of project programmes, learn Primavera P6, and progress toward a professional planning career within energy and infrastructure projects in the UK.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 Honours degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Business Management or related subject.
• Genuine interest in planning, project controls and major infrastructure projects.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills.
• Be able to work with data and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of project programmes and schedules.
• Assist with planning and coordinating project activities across engineering, procurement and construction teams.
• Monitor project progress and help identify schedule risks and opportunities.
• Support the preparation of programme updates, reports and performance metrics.
• Learn to use Primavera P6 and other industry-standard planning software.
• Participate in project reviews, planning meetings and site visits.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure programme information remains accurate and up to date.
• Develop an understanding of project controls, scheduling techniques and infrastructure project delivery.
• Build the skills and experience needed to progress towards a professional planning career.
