Job summary

Rentokil Pest Control is seeking a Graduate Pest Control Technician to cover Tavistock, Okehampton and surrounding areas. You will start with a 6–12 month period focusing on a defined geographic area, resolving pest issues while undergoing industry-recognised training.

Promotions into roles like Sales Surveyor or Field Biologist are possible over 12–36 months. Requirements include a minimum 2.2 degree in science or related fields (or BA in Business Management/Hospitality/Tourism).

Qualifications

• Degree in science or related field with minimum 2.2.
• Flexible working patterns may be required to support business needs.
• May be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role.

Responsibilities

• Inspect customer premises for signs of pests and identify risks.
• Tackle pest problems and remove evidence of pest activity.
• Provide advice on maintenance and hygiene of premises.
• Complete accurate reports after visits.
• Maintain professional image and deliver excellent customer service.

Education

2.2 degree in science/BSc including Social Science, or BA in Business Management/Hospitality/Tourism
