Job summary

Anglian is seeking a Graduate .NET Developer to join our IT team. As a recent graduate, you will gain hands-on experience developing and supporting business-critical systems while working alongside experienced developers in a collaborative environment.

You’ll contribute to the development, maintenance, testing and support of internal systems, learn new technologies, and build your technical and professional skills from day one.

Qualifications

• Degree (BSc/BA) in Computing, Software Development or CS.
• GCSE English and Maths minimum.
• Fundamental programming principles and at least one language.
• Knowledge of database design concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing new applications and enhancing existing systems.
• Support and maintain business-critical software systems.
• Produce specifications for system changes and new developments.
• Write, test, and maintain code across related technologies.
• Ensure thorough testing and documentation of solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver quality solutions.
• Contribute to development standards and best practices.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Support wider team activities as required.

Education

Degree (BSc/BA) in Computing/Software Development/Computer Science or related

GCSE English and Mathematics

Understanding of programming principles

Experience with at least one programming language

Knowledge of database design concepts
