Job summary

G-Research in London invites exceptional graduate machine learning engineers to join the Technical Machine Learning team. You will work with Quant researchers on cutting-edge problems, building scalable tools and experimenting with new ideas to accelerate discovery.

As a graduate, you will combine off-the-shelf tools with custom solutions to push advances in quantitative research. A collaborative environment and opportunities for growth are core to our culture.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate, master's or PhD student in machine learning or a related discipline.
• Strong OO programming skills; experience with Python, PyTorch and NumPy is desirable.
• Experience with optimisation methods, HPC, profiling, and model inference is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement ideas from published research papers.
• Write custom libraries to train models on large-scale data.
• Reduce training times by optimising ML workflows.
• Profile ML architectures to identify bottlenecks.
• Evaluate latest hardware and software in ML ecosystem.
