Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design and development of mechanical systems and assemblies, contributing to concept generation, CAD modelling, and technical documentation.
- Work alongside engineers, designers, and project teams to turn creative ideas into functional and buildable solutions.
- Assist in prototyping, testing, and validating designs to ensure performance, safety, and aesthetic standards are met.
- Contribute to cross disciplinary problem solving, blending mechanical design with architectural, electrical, and production considerations.
- Help manage project deliverables, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are achieved.
- Stay engaged with the latest technologies and sustainable design practices, continuously developing your technical and creative skill set.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and materials principles with an appreciation for design and fabrication.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and practical problem solving.
