• Working knowledge of on-site engineering projects ideally in water industry but not essential.

• Provide the highest standard of Health and Safety by supervision.
• Conduct site inspections and write risk assessments.
• Liaise with procurement for purchasing materials.
• Assist the Project Manager with the delivery of project work.
• Prepare handover files and reports for customers.

Role outline

The Graduate Engineer will work closely with the Project Manager / Contract Manager and key clients to manage and support the life cycle of projects from inception to delivery and handover.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest standard of Health and Safety by supervision, good management practices, inspections and monitoring.
• Conduct site inspections and write risk assessments and methos statements (RAMS) as required.
• Liaise with procurement for the purchasing of materials, parts and labour.
• Assist the Project Manager with deliver of project work.
• Obtain the relevant permits to work on behalf of the business as and when required.
• Prepare handover files and reports for customers as required.
• Conduct and report toolbox safety alerts.
• Assist other areas of department to deliver growth.

Requirements

• Engineering qualification - HND minimum
