Job summary

Marine Resources Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing engineering business near Abingdon. The role focuses on marine mechanical systems and product design, offering exposure to hydraulics, drivetrains and fluid systems.

You will take designs from concept through prototype, testing and production, collaborating with production and engineering teams to deliver robust components.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Interest in mechanical design and marine engineering.
• Experience with 3D CAD and NX preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designing mechanical assemblies incorporating mechanical, electrical and moulded components.
• Supporting the development of new products and engineering projects.
• Producing 3D models, technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Working with production teams to resolve design and build issues.
• Liaising with component and equipment suppliers on technical matters.
• Creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Supporting prototype builds, testing and product development.
• Assisting with on-water testing and development activities.
