Job summary

Roundhouse Recruitment Ltd in London is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join a focused engineering consultancy with over 50 years of experience. The role offers a structured graduate training from day one and fast-tracked progression, with mentoring and support towards professional registration.

You will work on mechanical building services design, prepare calculations and drawings, attend site visits and meetings, and contribute to energy-efficient, low-carbon building projects

Qualifications

• Degree qualified, or completing a degree, in Mechanical Engineering.
• Interested in mechanical design, building services and sustainability.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Keen to learn through structured training and practical project work.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit is useful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical building services design across varied projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, specifications and equipment schedules.
• Attend site visits and project meetings with senior engineers.
• Help coordinate designs with engineers, architects and contractors.
• Develop understanding of low-carbon design and energy efficiency.
