Job summary

Euro Projects Recruitment - Engineering, Manufacturing & Technology is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer in Hinckley (LE10). You will work on bespoke, complex mechanical systems, designing in 3D and 2D, with Creo or SolidWorks, and manage projects from concept to delivery, liaising with customers and suppliers.

Starting salary is around £28,000–£35,000 depending on experience, with a 12:30 finish on Fridays, 25 days holiday and additional benefits.

Qualifications

• 3D & 2D drawings to customer specifications.
• Good communication with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
• Knowledge of CAD packages – Creo / SolidWorks or similar.
• Manufacturing exposure; apprentice trained or production background moving to design.
• Development plan with training provided.
• BEng / HND or equivalent in Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Working on a wide variety of bespoke projects, preparing 3D & 2D drawings to customer specifications.
• Communicate with colleagues, suppliers and customers.

Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer. LE10, Hinckley

• Basic salary TBC (We suspect roughly £28,000 - £35,000 sort of region) + wider company benefits and a 12:30 finish on a Friday.

• Extremely varied role, you will get a chance to manage the full lifecycle of projects (Dealing with customers & suppliers), this is an excellent role to enhance your engineering career.
• You will be designing a range of different systems – bespoke, custom solutions so no project is the same! Complex Mechanical systems, you will ideally need a background in Mechanical Design or Mechanical Engineering.

Are you a Graduate Design Engineer, Project Design, CAD Design professional with a manufacturing / mechanical engineering background based in Leicestershire? This role will be highly suited to someone with a Mechanical Engineering degree and placement year or a couple of years working in industry.

• Working on a wide variety of bespoke projects, preparing 3D & 2D drawings to customer specifications.
• You will need good communication skills, to work alongside colleagues as well as deal with suppliers & customers.
• Any knowledge of CAD packages – Creo / SolidWorks or similar.
• Someone with manufacturing exposure, you may be an apprentice trained engineer, worked in a production or manufacturing role and now moved into a design focussed position.
• Eagerness to progress – the business is keen to bring someone in who they can put through a development plan, you will be given excellent training.
• Any qualifications ideal – BEng / HND or equivalent in an Engineering related subject,
