dormakaba's Tiverton factory is seeking a graduate Mechanical Engineer with a production background to train as a production engineer. This hands-on role will develop skills in manufacturing engineering within a two-person engineering team reporting to the Operations Manager.

The role focuses on managing and improving production processes to deliver optimal factory results and excellent customer experience, with modern CNC machinery and CAM experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or STEM.
• Proficiency in CAD software and reading technical drawings.
• Experience with CAM for small volume production.
• Lean and continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsabilités

• Assist production engineers in optimizing processes.
• Develop and implement improvements to production layouts.
• Work with CNC machinery and automation programs.
