Du Pont (U.K.) Industrial Limited, known for manufacturing Kevlar yarn, is seeking a Graduate Engineer based in Maydown, Derry / Londonderry.

The successful candidate will be part of a team leading continuous improvement initiatives driven by evidence-based analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Comply with company Safety, Health & Environment standards and procedures.
• Develop and troubleshoot processes supporting Kevlar yarn manufacturing. Monitor and control process variables for efficient production.
• Lead or participate in front-end loading of capital projects.
• Conduct Process Hazards Analysis (PHAs) for existing or new processes.
• Apply knowledge of Line of Business (LOB) technology to define and implement solutions for Process Safety Management (PSM), Growth, and Improvement projects.
• Lead or support Root Cause Analysis investigations.
• Provide daily operational support.

Essential Criteria:

• BEng degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Legal right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.

Desirable Criteria:

• At least one year of relevant process engineering experience in manufacturing.
