Graduate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Secondary Academy, Lewisham

Salary: £21,688 - £23,274 per annum. Permanent, 35 hours per week, term time only (42‑week contract).

Start date: As soon as possible.

Responsibilities
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide in‑class, one‑on‑one, or small group support to students with SEND.
  • Assist with classroom activities.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with other professionals such as the SENCO, teachers, and the SEND team.
Qualifications & Experience
  • GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above (or equivalent).
  • Degree 2:2 or above.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with children or young people with special needs (SEN).
