Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. invites applications for the 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Landscape Architect in Warrington.

You will join our Landscape team and contribute to water-related schemes across the UK and Ireland, including SuDS, wetlands and habitat improvements. The role supports professional progression toward chartership and offers a structured development plan, mentoring and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Landscape Planning.
• Evidence of collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is preferred.
• Ability to develop drawings for planning, tender and construction.
• Willingness to develop professionally and pursue chartership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare drawings for planning, tender and construction.
• Attend and assist with internal and external meetings.
• Develop sketch work and illustrative materials for projects.
• Draft reports, including Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments.

The Opportunity

Join our 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Landscape Architect in our Warrington office, where you will join our Landscape team and contribute to a wide variety of project types and scales, primarily focused on Water industry projects.

You will contribute to a number of exciting and innovative schemes throughout the UK and Ireland, including flagship projects of national importance, the design of key wetland areas and other habitat improvements, as well as SuDS and stormwater interventions that benefit individual communities.

We are particularly excited by SuDS schemes in urban contexts, which require a considered multidisciplinary approach involving a number of Stantec teams. About The Role

By joining our Landscape team, you will assist senior team members and work within multidisciplinary Stantec teams on a variety of landscape architecture tasks. Your core responsibilities include:

• Developing and preparing drawings for planning, tender and construction purposes.

• Attending and assisting with preparation for internal and external meetings.

• Developing and preparing sketch work and illustrative materials.

• Drafting reports, including Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments.

• Researching project briefs, precedents, case studies, materials and construction products.

• Supporting landscape fieldwork and surveys.

As a Registered Practice with the Landscape Institute, we will support your development towards professional progression and chartership through project experience, mentoring and structured training.

Your Impact

This role will help deliver better outcomes for communities and the environment by contributing to sustainable landscape design, wetland creation, habitat improvements, SuDS and stormwater interventions. Your work will support multidisciplinary project teams in developing thoughtful, practical and environmentally responsive solutions for Water clients and communities.
