Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles is seeking a Graduate IT Analyst to support and develop web applications, run tests, and assist with AI and BI initiatives across the business. You will work with cross‑functional teams to modernize systems, design data models, and help deploy AI‑enabled solutions.

The role requires a degree in computer science or related field, hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, PostgreSQL/SQL, and Git.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with modern web development technologies: TypeScript, React, Next.js, PostgreSQL/SQL
  • Familiarity with Git and version control
  • Exposure to AI technologies and BI exposure preferred
  • Willingness to travel occasionally on business
  • Good interpersonal and analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Providing support for existing web applications and developing and maintaining new applications
  • Performing program testing and supporting users with acceptance testing
  • Assisting with AI initiatives to drive adoption and deployment of AI-enabled solutions
  • Assisting with BI activities, including reporting and data model support across multiple source systems
  • Managing IT equipment purchases through approved channels
  • Provisioning, deploying, and supporting company mobile phones
  • Creating and distributing the monthly IT Newsletter
  • Maintaining technical documentation and knowledge sharing
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and IT projects

About the Role

Responsibilities
  • Providing support for existing web applications and developing and maintaining new applications as required.
  • Performing program testing and supporting users with acceptance testing as needed.
  • Assisting with AI initiatives to drive adoption throughout the business, including supporting the development, testing, and deployment of AI‑enabled solutions and tools.
  • Assisting with business intelligence (BI) activities, including reporting and data model support across multiple source systems.
  • Managing the purchase of IT equipment and software through approved channels.
  • Provisioning, deploying, and supporting company mobile phones.
  • Creating and distributing the monthly IT Newsletter.
  • Staying current with emerging technologies and system enhancements, and making recommendations for improvements and implementation opportunities based on research and analysis.
  • Performing break/fix analyses and recommending solutions for related processes.
  • Working across functional and technical teams as needed to support the daily operations of the department.
  • Providing first and second‑line support for IT systems and applications as required.
  • Maintaining technical documentation and contributing to knowledge‑sharing within the IT team.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and IT‑related project activities.
Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Experience with modern web development technologies, including:
    • TypeScript
    • React
    • Next.js
    • PostgreSQL and SQL
    • Database design and management
  • Familiarity with development tools and platforms such as:
    • Git and version control practices
    • CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
  • Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and concepts.
  • Business Intelligence (BI) exposure preferred.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally on business, when required.
  • Good interpersonal/customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business requirements.
