Graduate Intervention Support Assistant

Location: Slough

Salary: 85-95 per day

Start Date: November 25

Contract: Full-time, long-term

Academics are working with primary schools across Slough that are seeking motivated and compassionate individuals to join their teams as Graduate Intervention Support Assistants. This is an excellent opportunity to support children with varying needs, especially those requiring targeted academic or emotional interventions.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Delivering 1:1 and small group academic interventions
  • Supporting children with additional learning needs and special educational needs (SEN)
  • Working alongside class teachers and SENCOs to monitor pupil progress
  • Helping pupils develop confidence, resilience, and social skills
  • Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment across Slough schools
Who We're Looking For:
  • A recent graduate with an interest in education, child psychology, or SEN
  • A patient, enthusiastic, and adaptable team player
  • Someone with a desire to train as a teacher, educational psychologist, or therapist
  • Experience with children or young people (voluntary or paid) is a bonus but not essential
