Job summary

University of York invites applications for a Graduate Intern in Physics and Engineering Outreach. The role will be mentored by the Outreach Manager and academic leads, supporting a range of workshops and events for schools and the public.

Are you a recent graduate in physics or engineering (or related joint honours)? Do you have a passion for communicating your subject and enthusing the next generation of physicists and engineers? The University of York are currentlyrecruiting for a one-year internship, with mentoringby the Outreach Manager for the School of Physics, Engineering and Technology, as well as by academic project leads.

The School of Physics, Engineering and Technology has a proven track record of effective outreach. There is an extensive and highly successful programme of workshops and events that engage school students and members of the public through both face-to-face and online activities.
