Graduate Inclusion & SEN Support Assistant

Location: Slough | Salary: £85-£95 per day | Start Date: ASAP / November 25 | Contract: Full-time, long-term

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for inclusive education and supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)?

Academics are working with welcoming and supportive primary schools across Slough that are looking for compassionate, enthusiastic graduates to join their teams as Graduate Inclusion & SEN Support Assistants.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain first-hand experience in a primary school setting, working closely with pupils who require additional support, and helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment for all.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEN needs
  • Collaborate with class teachers and external specialists to implement support strategies
  • Assist in removing barriers to learning and promoting positive behaviour
  • Support pupils' emotional well-being and social development
  • Contribute to an inclusive, nurturing classroom culture
Qualifications
  • A recent graduate with an interest in SEN, psychology, or education
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable individual with strong communication skills
  • Someone considering a future in teaching, therapy, educational psychology, or SEN support
  • Previous experience with children or young people (formal or informal) is desirable but not essential
