Power that runs the world | Discover careers in Operations

Operations roles at Amazon put you at the center of how things move from a click to a doorstep.

You’ll help design, improve, and run systems that connect people, products, and places, at scale. You’ll take ownership early, work closely with teams to solve real-world challenges, and see the direct results of your decisions as they reach customers every day.

Here, the impact of what you build isn’t abstract, it’s visible, immediate, and meaningful - keeping one of the world’s most complex operations moving forward.

This is where your journey takes shape through action, responsibility, and the opportunity to grow in many directions.

Key job responsibilities

Key Stakeholder/Client Relationship(s): FC Associates; Team Leads; Area Managers, site HR teams, HR Shared Services, Payroll, High Volume Hiring.

  • Coach and support Team Leads and Area Managers on HR-related topics, acting as a trusted advisor on people matters.
  • Act as a point of contact for FC Associates, supporting their HR needs and ensuring a positive employee experience.
  • Manage employee cases and support investigations in line with local legislation, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.

  • Collect and analyse data to draw insights on attrition, attendance, workforce management, recruitment, and engagement initiatives.
  • Conduct compliance audits and apply knowledge of local employment law and legislation with supervision from management.
A day in the life

Every day is a little different as an HR Partner. As the front-line HR representative to Team Leads and Area Managers in the Fulfillment Center, you’ll help drive a positive Associate experience through facilitating engagement activities and managing complex queries. As part of the People Experience and Technology Solutions (PXT) team, you’ll partner with operations and HR teams to execute company-wide programs, actively seeking opportunities to invent and simplify. You’ll support investigations, conduct compliance audits, and collaborate with stakeholders across HR Shared Services, Payroll, and High Volume Hiring — all while developing your knowledge of local employment law and building the skills to insist on the highest standards in everything you do.
