Job summary

BakerHicks offers a dynamic two-year Graduate scheme to launch your engineering career in Ground Engineering. You will work on real projects, learn through two learning journeys, and gain hands-on experience with industry-leading teams across multiple sectors.

The programme combines technical training with professional development, including mentorship toward chartership and ongoing support from senior engineers to build a strong portfolio and essential skills.

Qualifications

• 2:1 degree in Civil Engineering or Earth Sciences; MSc preferred.
• Strong interest in Ground Engineering and commitment to chartership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and contribute to Ground Engineering deliverables across sectors such as power, rail, highways, life sciences, nuclear and aviation.
• Assist in design and specification of Ground Engineering activities.
• Support development of Ground Engineering service capabilities across BakerHicks locations.

Education

2:1 degree in Civil Engineering or Earth Sciences

MSc in Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology
