Job summary

Jensen Hughes is recruiting a Graduate Fire Engineer for the 2027 start in Belfast and across the UK & Ireland. You will join a global team and contribute to fire engineering projects for new and existing buildings, supported by experienced engineers.

We offer a structured two-year Graduate Development Programme, ongoing CPD and pathways toward Chartered status, with a focus on professional growth and collaboration within a leading fire consultancy.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (within last two years or expected)
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Right to work in the UK or Ireland and eligibility to work

Responsibilities

• Carry out fire engineering analyses on a range of building projects
• Work across diverse building types including high-rise and airports
• Analyze fire growth, means of escape, resistance and smoke control using modelling tools
• Prepare technical reports and liaise with clients including major developers
