Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Fire Engineer in Nottingham to work across fire safety design and assessment. You’ll contribute to fire strategies, liaise with design teams, and learn through exposure to a wide range of projects and clients.

You’ll be supported from day one to pursue a professional qualification, conduct fire safety research, and apply a total fire engineering approach using in-house tools and software.

Qualifications

• Full working rights in the country of application.
• No more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role.
• Recently graduated, or on track to graduate, from your most recent degree before employment starts.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a range of varied and high-profile clients from day one.
• Learn fire engineering concepts and develop as a fire engineer with support.
• Liaise with external designers and construction professionals on projects.
• Develop proficiency in fire-specific design software and methods.
• Support research and feasibility studies and contribute to project delivery.
