Qualifications

Job Overview

As a Graduate Fire Engineer you will be an integral part of a dynamic design team, working with experienced Engineers to gain knowledge in fire engineering projects. You will receive early responsibility, opportunities to progress rapidly, and support to achieve chartered status via the Institute of Fire Engineers.

Responsibilities
  • Fire engineering analysis of exciting projects involving new and existing buildings.
  • Work on a wide range of buildings such as high‑rise office buildings, large retail complexes and airport developments.
  • Analyse fire growth, means of escape, structural fire resistance and smoke control using methods including computer modelling software (e.g., Computational Fluid Dynamics). Prepare technical reports and liaise with clients.

Qualifications
