PLC D&G Group Limited is hiring three Graduate Finance Analysts for our Group Finance team. Hybrid working at our Wimbledon office, 2-3 days in the office weekly. You will support budgets, forecasts, reporting and business insight across FP&A, finance business partnering, and financial control.

You will gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, and decision-support analytics while working with experienced finance professionals in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or working towards a professional accounting qualification.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities with proficiency in Excel.
• Experience or interest in FP&A, business partnering, and financial reporting preferred but not essential.

Graduate Finance Analyst

Location: Hybrid working at our office in Wimbledon working 2-3 times per week in the office. Contract: Permanent. Salary: Competitive.

We’re looking for three Graduate Finance Analysts to join our Group Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure across key areas of finance while developing the skills and experience needed for a successful career. Working alongside experienced finance professionals, you’ll support the delivery of financial analysis, reporting and business insight that helps drive decision‑making across the organisation. You’ll have the opportunity to gain experience in: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting, Finance Business Partnering, supporting stakeholders with financial insights and analysis, Commercial Finance, analysing trends and supporting commercial decision‑making, Financial Control, helping ensure accurate reporting, robust controls and governance. This role offers a fantastic platform to build strong foundations in finance while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, plans and performance reporting for assigned areas, ensuring outputs are accurate and delivered on time.
• Analyse financial and operational performance against budget, forecast, prior year and agreed assumptions.
• Help investigate and explain trends, variances, risks and opportunities, escalating issues where further review is needed.
• Prepare reporting packs, management information and commentary with guidance from more experienced Finance colleagues.
• Maintain financial models, reporting templates, datasets and planning tools, ensuring information is complete and up to date.
• Support planning, forecasting and month‑end reporting cycles by coordinating inputs, completing analysis and tracking deadlines.
• Provide analysis to support business cases, commercial decisions, initiatives and value creation opportunities.
• Undertake basic scenario analysis, sensitivity testing and ad hoc modelling to support planning assumptions and decision‑making.
• Work with Finance colleagues and business stakeholders to gather information, understand requirements and provide relevant analysis.
• Check and validate financial information to support accuracy, consistency, governance and data quality.
• Support continuous improvement in reporting, analysis, processes and ways of working across Finance.

What you’ll bring:

• Degree qualified, working towards a professional accounting qualification, or able to demonstrate equivalent analytical capability.
• Early experience or strong interest in finance, financial analysis, management reporting, FP&A, business partnering, commercial finance or financial control would be desirable but not essential.
• Good analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to work with data and identify key messages.
• Able to investigate basic performance drivers, trends and variances with guidance.
• Good Excel skills and confidence working with spreadsheets, data and reporting templates.
• Developing understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and performance management principles.
• Able to learn financial systems, reporting tools and data sources quickly.
• Able to manage allocated tasks, ask for support when needed and deliver work to agreed timelines.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain analysis clearly and build confidence working with finance and non-finance colleagues.
