Airbus Operations Limited is recruiting a Graduate, Failure Analyst in the Materials & Processes domain. Start date: September 2027.

The two-year Airbus Global Graduate development journey offers personalized growth, leadership development, and exposure to advanced material testing at AIRTeC. You will rotate through cross-functional teams, develop deep technical knowledge of failure analysis, and contribute to material selection for future aircraft while advancing your leadership potential

Qualifications

Degree (or equivalent) in Materials Science or related field.
Recent graduation or first professional experience in analytical tests and material characterization.
Strong verbal and written communication in English.
Desire to work in a collaborative team environment.
Self-awareness and initiative to drive development.

Responsibilities

Guide growth into Engineer, Failure Analyst in Materials & Processes (M&P).
Investigate failures in metallics, composites, and surface protection systems.
Collaborate with materials experts to ensure robust conclusions and feedback to design and airworthiness teams.
Learn and apply failure analysis principles using AIRTeC facilities and equipment.
Participate in rotational placements to develop into a Materials Failure Analyst.
