ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for an Environmental Support professional to join our QHSE team. This role is pivotal in helping AVK Group's UK businesses minimise environmental impact and deliver sustainability strategies. You will contribute to the development and implementation of our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) agenda, focusing on data collection systems, life cycle assessments, and identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to enhance ESG performance.

FURTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the development and implementation of ESG strategies and action plans.
  • Liaise with customers to align environmental strategies and provide required data.
  • Conduct Environmental Product Declarations and Life Cycle Assessments.
  • Assist procurement teams in engaging suppliers on environmental matters and carbon reduction plans.
  • Promote awareness of emerging environmental issues internally.
  • Contribute ESG information for bids and tenders.
  • Support compliance with environmental legislation and maintain third‑party accreditations.
  • Monitor and report environmental performance data to internal teams and regulatory bodies.
  • Train staff on environmental issues and responsibilities.
  • Drive continual improvement of environmental management systems and best practices.
