Job summary

Ayesa Group is seeking a Graduate Environmental Consultant - Permitting to contribute to the management of and develop the work of the environmental permitting team. The role involves working in the office with site visits and meetings to support existing clients.

You will contribute to multidisciplinary projects, engage with regulators and clients, and help prepare quotes and invoices while supporting project management and delivery.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary to work as part of a team and to engage with clients and regulators.
  • Excellent time and organisational skills allowing completion of work to time and budget.
  • Take responsibility for project delivery, use initiative and work without supervision.
  • First degree in a relevant Science or Geography or Civil Engineering
  • Good IT skills especially MS Word and Excel.
  • A minimum 1 years relevant experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of permitting and how permitting and other regulatory frameworks interact.
  • Detailed understanding of environmental risk assessment tools e.g. LandSim / H1.
  • Have good knowledge of EMS and QMS.
