Engage Talent Partners are working with our client to recruit a Graduate Project Engineer based in Aberdeen.

Our client is a multi‑award‑winning company operating across multiple sectors and this is an exciting opportunity to join them at a time of strong growth, with several high‑profile contract wins and ambitious plans for the future.

This role is ideal for recent graduates or those at the start of their career in project engineering. You will join an established projects team and benefit from a structured competency scheme that supports your professional growth and career progression.

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of assigned scopes and gain hands‑on experience across the full project lifecycle.
  • Create and manage Bill of Materials and collaborate with the Procurement team to meet project deadlines.
  • Prepare project documentation, including final product data books, in line with client requirements.
  • Provide progress updates to clients and management, developing your skills in project reporting and communication.
  • Participate in product testing and coordinate any third‑party witnessing requirements.
  • Monitor budgets and support commercial aspects of project delivery.
  • Contribute to project close‑out reports, providing valuable feedback on performance and lessons learned.
Candidate Profile
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, Business Management or a related subject; HND‑qualified candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Early professional exposure, such as internships, industry placements or project work in a manufacturing or engineering environment, is advantageous but not essential.
  • Enthusiasm, strong communication skills, a proactive attitude and a genuine interest in developing a career in project management within a fast‑paced and supportive environment.
