Job summary

Igne Group Limited in Scotland is seeking Graduate Engineering Geologists to join the GI Division in Hamilton, near Glasgow. This full-time, permanent role contributes to large-scale ground investigation projects and offers training and professional qualification opportunities.

Responsibilities include soil and core logging, site assessments and factual reporting, with travel and strong teamwork expected. A relevant degree is essential and a can-do attitude is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Masters’ degree in Geology, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Knowledge of geological mapping, data analysis and interpretation.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and travel with a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct geological site assessments for a range of projects and ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Undertake soil and core logging.
• Liaise with key project stakeholders.
• Provide geological support during drilling, excavation and other field operations.
• Produce factual reports.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations throughout all project phases.
