Job summary

Fort Recruitment is seeking a Graduate Engineer to join the water industry team in the region. You will install and configure remote monitoring and control instruments across the Water Network, with full training and a company vehicle provided.

You will gain exposure to GIS, automatic control systems, wireless communications, electronics, hydraulics and more, with structured progression, a personal pension, and a mobile phone.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence for manual gears is essential.
• Degree in Geography, Environmental, Earth Sciences or a field-based/data driven subject is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to deal with customers or clients.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
• Team player with flexibility to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure remote monitoring and control instruments on the Water Network.
• Provide full training and certifications as part of the role.
• Support field surveys, data analysis and interpretation.
• Liaise with customers or clients to ensure satisfactory service.
