Stantec in Leeds is offering a 2027 Graduate Programme for a Graduate Electrical Engineer within our market-leading Buildings discipline. You’ll join a close-knit Leeds MEP team of 15, supported regionally and nationally, delivering a range of building services projects across sectors.
You will design, analyse, and coordinate electrical engineering work from concept to completion while pursuing professional accreditation.

In our Leeds office, you will be part of a market-leading Buildings discipline. As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you’ll join a collaborative and growing MEP team where you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact. You'll be part of a close‑knit Leeds team of 15, supported by a regional network of 20 professionals and backed by a national team of over 200 experts. You’ll support the delivery of a diverse range of projects across multiple sectors, including retail, manufacturing, logistics, education, healthcare, leisure, and heritage projects.
As part of the MEP team, you’ll support the design and delivery of building services projects from concept through to completion. Typical responsibilities will include preparing engineering calculations, producing and reviewing technical reports, developing design drawings and specifications, and assisting with the coordination of multidisciplinary project information.
We are committed to supporting employees in achieving relevant professional qualifications and accreditation. The applicable professional qualification for this role is IEng or CEng status.
This role will help create high‑quality, sustainable and resilient buildings that deliver positive outcomes for communities and the environment. Working across a range of projects, you will support the design and delivery of safe, efficient and future‑ready buildings, helping clients reduce environmental impact, enhance building performance and create spaces that improve the wellbeing of those who use them. Your work will contribute to sustainable development goals, support the efficient use of resources, and help deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of both clients and local communities.
At Stantec, we value your potential over past experience. Along with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering related discipline, a knowledge of Microsoft packages, and a keen interest in working in the Buildings sector, you’ll be:
