Graduate Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Leeds (Hybrid)
Salary: £25k - £30k (DOE)

A forward-thinking Building Services Engineering Consultancy delivering innovative and sustainable design solutions across the UK are on the hunt for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join their team. Their work spans healthcare, education, commercial, residential, life sciences, justice, and other major sectors. They combine strong technical expertise with a collaborative, people-first approach.

This is an exciting opportunity to begin your career in the design of modern, efficient, and sustainable buildings. As a graduate engineer, you will work alongside experienced professionals on a wide variety of projects, gaining hands-on experience in:

  • The design and development of Electrical systems
  • Using digital design tools (AutoCAD, Dialux, BIM, and simulation software)
  • Supporting calculations, layouts, and technical reports
  • Contributing to sustainable and low-carbon design strategies
  • Attending site visits and client meetings (with support)
Requirements
  • A recent graduate (or due to graduate) in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Passionate about sustainable design and the built environment
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn from experienced engineers
  • Comfortable using (or learning) software tools such as AutoCAD, Dialux or similar design platforms
  • A good communicator and team player with attention to detail
