Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Graduate Electrical/Electronics Engineer (PCB Design) in Bristol to join an innovative robotics and automation company where you'll develop your skills and work on cutting-edge hardware projects from concept through to production. You will join a fast-growing team working on servo drives, robot controllers and integrated motor systems.

The role offers flexitime, profit sharing and paid lunches with the CEO, plus a path to grow across the hardware

Qualifications

• Recent Electronics or Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics or similar graduate.
• Knowledge of PCB design using KiCad or similar CAD software.
• Knowledge of analogue, power and digital electronics.
• Knowledge of embedded systems or C/C++ firmware (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

In this role, the successful candidate will support the design of schematic diagrams and multi-layer PCB layouts, develop analogue and digital electronic systems, build and test prototypes, troubleshoot hardware, support manufacturing, and work closely with software, mechanical and customer teams to deliver high-performance engineering solutions.

The Person:

• Recent graduate with a degree in Electronics, Electrical, mechatronics Engineering or similar
• University project or practical experience involving PCB design using KiCad or similar CAD software
• Knowledge of analogue, power and digital electronics
• Knowledge of embedded systems or C/C++ firmware (preferred)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Passionate about developing a career in electronics, robotics and motion control
