Arup is a global consultancy delivering advisory and technical services across the built environment. The Graduate Economist role sits in the Cities, Planning and Design portfolio and supports strategy, planning and economic consulting for high-profile clients.

You will work on climate, cities, transport, energy, water, and regeneration projects, contributing to economic appraisal, modelling and policy work as part of a collaborative team in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic economic input on climate, cities, transport, energy, water, property and regeneration projects.
• Build the case for investment using Green Book–compliant business cases.
• Conduct economic appraisal, analysis and modelling to support decision-making.
• Contribute to policy and placemaking across urban development sites.
• Develop vision and strategy for regeneration and developments sites.
