Job description
Position Overview

Please note that due to changes in Government Legislation we are unable to fulfil the remuneration requirements for Graduate level, therefore unable to accept applications from individuals who hold a student or Graduate Visa. We continue to support colleagues at later stages in their career, requiring work sponsored Visas. As Graduate Ecologist, you will work closely with the Biodiversity team to support on a range of ecological projects, as well as managing aspects of projects across a range of sectors (infrastructure, residential, commercial, renewable energy). You'll have the opportunity to contribute to a range of projects with several clients at any given time and support with providing them with high-quality advice and service. You will gain some valuable experience and exposure across a range of sectors and a variety of clients to support your development.

Qualifications

We are looking for you to hold a relevant degree in Ecology or a related environmental discipline. We are seeking graduates who can demonstrate:

  • A logical and analytical approach
  • Great problem‑solving and communication skills
  • Ability to use your own initiative and to think outside the box

Work experience in Biodiversity would be advantageous but is not essential as you'll be learning your new role on the job and with the support from our Graduate Training Scheme.
