Job summary

An ecological consultancy in the United Kingdom is seeking a Graduate Ecologist for exciting ecological and land restoration projects. The ideal candidate will support ecological surveys, collect data, and contribute to habitat creation. A degree in Ecology or related field is required, along with skills in organization and communication. This full-time role is based in Harlow, Essex.

Qualifications

  • CIEEM membership (or working towards) required.
  • Some experience in surveys, habitat work, or ecological projects preferred.
  • Full UK driving licence is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Support and lead ecological surveys and projects.
  • Collect and analyse ecological data.
  • Assist with habitat creation and restoration plans.
  • Contribute to Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) assessments.
  • Work closely with site teams to apply ecological best practice.
