Job Description

As a Digital Design Engineer, you will be responsible for digital design and RTL coding using Verilog or SystemVerilog. You will integrate modules at the SoC level and work hands‑on across the frontend development cycle through tapeout, including RTL coding, CDC, lint, synthesis, STA, and DFT. You will debug and resolve functional issues in RTL, develop scripts to automate frequently used processes, and validate digital design functionality on silicon, finding innovative solutions as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement digital logic in Verilog/SystemVerilog.
• Integrate modules at the SoC level and contribute throughout the frontend flow to tapeout.
• Perform CDC analysis, lint checks, synthesis, static timing analysis (STA), and DFT activities.
• Debug functional issues in RTL and drive root‑cause analysis and fixes.
• Develop automation scripts (e.g., TCL, Perl) to streamline workflows.
• Validate functionality on silicon and support post‑silicon debug.

Qualifications

• MS or higher in Electronics or Electrical Engineering with a focus on digital IC design.
• Experience with the full design cycle from architecture to place‑and‑route.
• Hands‑on experience with HDLs: Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL.
• Strong logical reasoning, quick learner, and effective communication skills.
• Proficient in scripting with TCL and Perl; comfortable in Unix/Linux environments.
• Exposure to industry‑standard tools for VLSI digital design is preferred.
