Job summary

Amentum's 2026 Graduate Programme offers a structured start for graduates in STEM disciplines. You will work across Digital, Data & Cyber capabilities, including software, data-centric solutions, data science, and systems engineering, with mentorship and a clear path to professional registration.

Successful candidates join in September 2026 and will benefit from a hub-based, hybrid work model, supporting early career networking and hands-on learning across UK projects.

Qualifications

  • Completed undergraduate or master’s degree in a STEM subject by summer 2026.
  • Not worked in a similar professional role since graduation.
  • Achieved a minimum 2:2 in your first degree.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a structured graduate development programme.
  • Engage in digital, data and cyber-focused projects and capability areas.
  • Benefit from comprehensive training, mentorship and progression opportunities.
  • Work from Amentum hubs on a regular basis as part of a hybrid model.

We are looking for candidates who:

A completed undergraduate or master’s degree level qualification in a relevant subject (e.g., Computer Science, Cyber Security, Systems Engineering or other STEM subject) by summer 2026.

  • Initiative & Curiosity: Problem solvers who are eager to take ownership, ask questions, and seek out opportunities to grow.

  • Digital skills: Demonstrate a deep understanding of digital technologies and how they can be applied.

  • Flexibility: A willingness to try engaging in new skill areas, work from the office hubs on a regular basis and/or potentially travel to our client sites.”

You must be:
  • A flexible self-starter, who is keen to drive their career forward.

  • Adaptable to change, with a thirst for learning new things.

And:
  • have the permanent right to work in the UK and be able to obtain SC Clearance as a required minimum, for this role.

Our Graduate Programme assumes that participants are commencing their first professional role post-graduation. To qualify for our Graduate Programme, you must therefore have:

  • completed your first degree no earlier than the summer of 2024

  • not worked in a similar professional role since graduation

  • achieved a minimum 2:2 in your first degree

Selection Process

Step 1: Apply Online

Step 2: Successful candidates will be invited to complete an online assessment

Step 3: Those who are selected will be invited to a final face to face interview with our operations teams.

Step 4: Selected candidates will be offered an opportunity to join Amentum Graduate Programe in September 2026.

We will close the application window for this role on 31st January 2026, however we reserve the right to close the role sooner should we receive the required number of applications.
