Job summary

Graphcore is launching a two-year Graduate Software Engineer (DevOps) programme in Bristol aimed at building hands-on expertise in CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and release systems. You’ll contribute to the Software Infrastructure team, deploying services with Kubernetes and Docker and helping automate workflows as part of production-grade ML software stacks.

The programme includes mentorship, a hands-on project in your first three months, and exposure to ArgoCD, Terraform/OpenTofu, and cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Maths, Machine Learning, Data Science or a related field.
• Knowledge of Python, Go, C++ or a similar programming language.
• An understanding of CI/CD, with the ability to explain work and collaborate with others.
• Exposure to Kubernetes, OpenStack, infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or OpenTofu, GitHub Actions, build tools, HPC, Grafana or AWS would be useful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Software Infrastructure team to build and maintain tools for software builds and releases.
• Learn to deploy services using Kubernetes and Docker, and support cloud infrastructure managed by Terraform/OpenTofu.
• Collaborate with teams developing Graphcore’s machine learning software stack to automate repetitive tasks and improve workflows.
