Job summary

National Gas invites graduates to join a fixed-term 18-month Design Engineer Graduate programme. You’ll gain hands-on experience in coordinating engineering activities and supporting the delivery of major infrastructure projects across the West Region.

You’ll work with experienced engineers and partners, developing technical knowledge and project coordination skills, with emphasis on learning how engineering design moves from idea through delivery in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant subject (Engineering or Project-focused).
• Disciplines include Project Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, General Engineering, Engineering Management, Construction Management.

Responsibilities

• Track project progress and milestones.
• Manage project information and records.
• Attend meetings and follow up on actions.
• Coordinate with colleagues and external partners to keep projects moving forward.
• Support review and approval of engineering designs.
• Prepare reports and presentations for project teams.
• Learn how engineering and project delivery teams work together.
