Job summary

Grayce in York is seeking a Graduate Data Consultant to start a data-driven career, solving business problems and improving decisions for clients. You’ll work full-time on-site, building dashboards and analyses from day one while gaining hands-on client experience.

The Accelerated Development Programme provides mentoring and at least six industry-recognised accreditations, with clear career progression and salary growth as you develop your data expertise.

Join Grayce as a Graduate Data Consultant and start building a career using data to solve business problems, improve decisions and support major change.

You’ll work full-time with a Grayce client in York and contribute to real data-led work from the start. Depending on the project and your developing strengths, you could analyse datasets, build dashboards, communicate insights, improve data quality or support data pipelines and transformations.

Alongside your client experience, Grayce’s Accelerated Development Programme provides structured learning, dedicated mentoring and a minimum of six industry-recognised accreditations.

What you could be doing

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Analysing and interpreting complex datasets
  • Identifying trends, patterns and opportunities for improvement
  • Building dashboards, reports and data visualisations
  • Communicating findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Supporting data pipelines and data transformations
  • Checking and improving data quality
  • Helping teams apply data governance standards
  • Contributing to data-led business and technology change

You’ll normally work with one client at a time, giving you the opportunity to understand its data, people and business challenges in depth. You won’t just produce analysis—you’ll learn how to make your findings clear, relevant and useful.
