You will be based at Severn Trent Headquarters in Coventry, the heart of our patch. The programme requires you to complete placements throughout your time in the role, gaining exposure in different areas of the department so that you are equipped with the right skills to build your career here at Severn Trent.
In this exciting programme, you will have the chance to discuss your development and career ambitions in your - meetings with business leads, mentors, a study buddy, the cohort leader, and the New Talent Team.
You will expand your understanding of Cyber Security as a whole. With nearly all personal data now stored online, cyber attacks have the potential to devastate businesses, and deeply impact individual lives along the way. As part of our Cyber Security team, you’ll play a key role in preventing such threats.
Some of the focus area you will be involved in is protecting sensitive information from hackers, defending against DDoS attacks, and ensuring the security of our customers’ personal data. Because of the nature of this work, your role will be office‑based.
You’ll collaborate with a wide range of people both inside and outside the organisation, including suppliers, customers, technical experts, non‑specialists, peers, and senior stakeholders.
