Job summary

BUUK Infrastructure is seeking a Graduate Cyber Security Analyst to start a career in cyber security, information governance, data protection and risk management. The role reports to the Information Security Manager and will rotate through security operations, cyber risk, privacy, governance, projects and awareness.

The programme includes structured training, mentoring, and aimed certifications, with a three-stage interview process and an Assessment Centre in Woolpit, Suffolk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with interest in cyber security.
• Understanding of fundamental cyber security principles.
• Basic knowledge of computer networking concepts.
• Understanding of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Awareness of privacy, governance and risk concepts.
• Evidence of interest in cyber security through study or projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vulnerability-management across infrastructure, cloud, applications and end-user devices.
• Support security monitoring, alert triage, investigation and threat research.
• Assist with information security incident investigations and evidence gathering.
• Support security testing, control validation and remediation activities.
• Document security requirements, actions, risks and decisions across projects.
• Assist with security reviews of new systems, cloud services and technologies.
• Travel between company locations may be required.
