Job summary

The JobsBoard is seeking a recent graduate with up to 3 years of experience in Azure or IT support to join its Cloud Engineering team on a permanent basis. The role focuses on Azure-based infrastructure, with learning opportunities and paths to industry-recognised certification.

Candidates with a degree in IT or computing and familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and Kubernetes will fit well. Some London travel is expected, with a commute to Central London.’

Qualifications

• Degree background in IT, Computing, Maths, Physics or similar welcomed.
• Exposure to Azure, Microsoft Cloud Computing, IaC, Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, C#, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, containerisation and CI/CD all relevant.
• Willing to spend 1-2 days a week in London with occasional client visits; must be within easy commute of Central London.
• Excellent interpersonal skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining Azure-based cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the team on IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Attend client visits and contribute to project delivery when required.

Job description

Our client is looking to grow their Cloud Engineering team with 2 additional permanent recruits to start ASAP. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate with up to 3 years of experience working with Azure or IT support. Hands-on Cloud Computing experience isn't essential - this could suit a recent, bright, capable graduate with evidence of home-based infrastructure/cloud learning. Any certification around Azure or AWS is a bonus, but this is a pure Azure-based role.
