A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a Graduate Civil / Structural Engineer in Belfast. The role offers a competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000, hybrid working, and support for professional development. You will assist with the design of marine structures and bridges, and work closely with senior engineers. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and strong technical skills.

Qualifications

  • 0-2+ years experience in a relevant role is desirable.
  • Motivated to progress towards Chartered Engineer status.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with design of marine structures, bridges, and heavy civil works.
  • Support preparation of technical specifications, feasibility studies, and reports.
  • Assist with producing Bills of Quantities and contract documentation.
  • Attend design team meetings and liaise with senior engineers.
  • Support health & safety documentation and ensure compliance with company procedures.
  • Work closely with technicians on detailed drawings and modelling.

Ideal Person
  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • 0-2+ years experience (placement / graduate role / assistant level)
  • Strong technical ability and willingness to learn
  • Good communication, team working and problem solving skills
