Have you recently graduated from 2024, 2025 with a 2:1 (or projected for 2026) or above in a Master's degree in a relevant Civil Engineering?
Are you interested in a programme that will facilitate professional development and exposure to real life Construction projects in a 24/7 live operational environment. What is the Graduate Programme?
Lasting 3 years, the programme will be involved in live projects that deliver strategic growth, by building our future infrastructure. As passenger numbers rise, it's vital we grow our infrastructure capacity and deliver our sustainability goals. Focused on civil work within an airport environment.
You will play a part in this growth working across field and project engineer teams across a wide variety of business areas and projects that cover every aspect of the airport ecosystem. Surface access, car parks, terminal buildings or out on our airfield.
You will gain a unique insight into the inner workings of our business rotating across Construction and Field / Project Engineering and experiencing different roles and programmes. With the convenience of being on an amazing single campus.
As well as giving you exposure to innovative projects in a fast paced environment this role can also offer you:
- A foundation for a career in engineering and support route to Chartership
- Opportunity to build your portfolio of skills and experience by exposure across different projects

- Developing your design management, construction management and project management skills
- Working on £multi-million projects and be involved from inception through to design, construction, handover and completion.

Do you have what we're looking for?
- Minimum 2:1 Master's degree (graduated 2024, 2025, or projected for 2026) in Civil Engineering, or includes these subject modules covered as a core discipline.
- Driving licence
- Keen interest in the Construction sector and being involved in active construction projects
- Logical thinker with an aptitude for problem-solving
- Highly numerate, with an understanding of Data analysis
- Ability to prioritise and work at pace
- Creative, innovative, curious to find a better way
- Team working – you'll enjoy working in a team environment, sharing ideas, and collaborating with colleagues as well as other graduates

- Online assessment – an online chat tool to demonstrate your strengths and relevant values and behaviours
- On review of your full application and completed assessment, should you be successful you will be invited to a virtual 1st stage screening call with our Graduate recruitment partner Sanctuary Graduates
- If successful at screening, your application will be shortlisted and then if successful on final selection for the next stage, you will be invited to an assessment centre which consists of group and individual activities as well as an interview with the opportunity to meet managers and teams here at London Gatwick.
- The assessment centre dates are currently to be confirmed but will take place in likely February 2026.
